In the last year or so, much has been learned about the synergistic role between the spirochete and biofilms. The 2011 ILADS conference had many speakers discussing the exciting progress of the latest research and development.
To better understand some of the groundbreaking work that Dr. Alan MacDonald and his team made before his death go to: http://www.molecularalzheimer.org/files/Biofilm_New_Haven_ppt_Read-Only_.pdf
Here are some of the reasons we relapse:
-
We are not given enough medication
-
We are bitten again
-
We have co-infections
-
We have multiple Lyme biofilms which hide Lyme colonies from our immune system and from organic and/or synthetic antibiotics.
Until recently, it was believed that co-infections kept us from recovering from Lyme disease. However, with the discovery by Dr. Alan MacDonald of the “Lyme biofilm” many perplexing questions have been answered to the persistent, chronic nature of Lyme disease and the many co-infections that are also tick-borne.
So, not only do these biofilms protect spirochetes, but a host of co-infections such as Babesia, Bartonella, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Mycoplasma species to name just a few.
The biofilm is used to both protect the bacteria from our immune system which gets weaker and weaker over the years of fighting chronic illness, dealing with stress and fatigue, while also trying to stave off viral infections and parasitic invaders.
Dr. MacDonald describes the biofilm as “a community of microbes enveloped in a protective extracellular matrix.”
What is in this matrix besides bacteria?
Extracellular polysaccharides, lipoproteins, peptidogylcans (sugar and amino acids which form the cell wall), extracellular DNA, and many other bits and pieces of human particles that not only fool our immune system and protects these massive spirochetal/bacterial colonies as they grow undisturbed, but also serves as the nutritional source for these colonies.
Or as Peta Cohen, M.S., R.D, the founder of Total Life Center in Northern New Jersey puts it, “ …“Bacteria build biofilms by first aggregating together, and then rapidly weaving this protective web or matrix around them. They build a polymeric matrix. It’s a sticky, gluey, mucus-y goop and it’s got fibrin [NOTE: Fibrin is a type of protein the body uses to clot blood] in it to give it an intact structure. The bacteria recruit fibrinogen to create fibrin as part of that matrix. At that point they can shed their outer membrane, which has the proteins that serve as antigens and as a target of the missile of the immune system. They’re very protected. They’re very crafty in creating a way to survive and procreate and hide from the immune system.”
As you can see, the worst part of these biofilms is that they prevent antibiotics from effectively eradicating the disease. The film is effectively protecting many bacterial species that can later escape the community, reproduce and move on to inhabit other tissues.
The protocol that I follow and describe and explain in detail in the revised Combat XI Biofilm Busters ebook is as follows:
Biofilm Buster Protocols
These protocols should be started slow. Begin once a day until acclimated, then twice a day and finally three times a day when you feel your body can handle it.
There is no rush. Even if you just stay on the once a day you will eventually wear down the biofilms. This protocol will cause Herxheimer reactions depending on how infected you are so be prepared to feel worse before you begin to feel better.
NOTE: The enzymes used in the biofilm busting protocol are blood thinners which can be extremely dangerous to people who have trouble with thin blood that doesn’t clot easily OR if you are taking a blood thinner due to a problem with blood clots, OR if you have blood pressure problems. Please consult your physician.
Protocol One: To prepare your body and to eliminate places for spirochetes to “escape to” once the biofilm is destroyed, follow the instructions for Parastat. Follow with liver flush and coffee enema.
Begin to attack biofilms two hours before eating with the following. Follow minimum directions on the container for dosage.
· One dose Boluoke Lumbrokinase
· One dose Heavy Metal Removal
WAIT 30 MINUTES -(SET TIMER) before taking the next group of supplements to strengthen immune system and kill bacteria, microbes, parasites, viruses and pathogens released from biofilm, and keep intestines clean and “bug free”.
· One dose Living Streams Probiotic
· One dose Colostrum
· One dose of Silvercillin, OR One – Four capsules of Andrographis Paniculata (start very slowly and work up to four), OR whatever product you feel works best to destroy spirochetes – each person is unique and what works for one person may not for another.
Repeat with each meal ( 3 times each day).
Protocol Two: This is a short, simple and yet effective protocol that uses the same scientific premises of the biofilm and the highest quality products to recover your health. To prepare your body and to eliminate places for spirochetes to “escape to” once the biofilm is destroyed, follow the instructions for Parastat. Follow with liver flush and coffee enema.
Begin to attack biofilms two hours before eating with one capsule of Boluoke Lumbrokinase
WAIT 30 MINUTES -(SET TIMER) before taking the next group of supplements to strengthen immune system and kill bacteria, microbes, parasites, viruses and pathogens released from biofilm, and keep intestines clean and “bug free”.
two capsules Himalayan salt and one capsule of applepoly.
Repeat with each meal ( 3 times each day).
As with any Lyme protocol, healing takes time and not everyone can expect the same results. READ DISCLAIMER HERE. Please be certain to discuss this with your doctor. Lumbrokinase is a blood thinner and should not be taken if you are already taking a blood thinner or have a health condition that would make this product dangerous for you to take. CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR!
